La Panda Rouge |
a history of my sideways world. |
I’m super glad I live on the other side of the country from Purl because I would be more broke than I already am if I could walk in there. It doesn’t help that their webstore and blog are amazing and cool and beautiful and TEMPTING (this, above all) to the wishful crafter in me. Their merchandiser and marketer have my number….
(SIDE NOTE:
I will tell you that Jodi and I figured out the 5 stages of crafting the other day
1 Want to make X
2 Buy tools, ingredients, books, take classes for X
3 START making X
4 Finish X
5 Sell IT!
and we’ve only ever made it to step 4…..)
But back to Purl and it’s tasty-evil ways. I guess Purl is selling Amy Butler organic yarn from Rowan. Please excuse me, I know these things do not always translate.
This is like the nexus of all things sweet and crafty and awesome. I want to buy a hundred skeins and only make the left sock (this is my attention span we’re talking about).
I want to live in this absurdly cute yarn in a world of Purl. It’s wrong. It’s right.
