I cannot call myself a writer (nay, worse, a blogger) unless I actually write more than one thing a year.   My resolution here includeth: To write write write. Crappy stuff. Short stuff. Musings. Et cetera. To read the Cannonball IV. Starting this weekend.  And post about the books I read herein.   To actually put the...

Some Nerdiness
I have about eighty tabs open right now.  It’s my mad-scientist method of keeping things I want to share. Old Movie & Quote
Linda Seton: What’s the use of having all this jack around if it can’t get us a superior kind of man?  Watched Holiday last night.  What a fantastic movie.  Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn lit up my screen last night with some great turns (esp the lady Hep, can I still grow up to be her?).   The plot centers around Cary Grant’s character Johnny Case, a young guy working on...

AV Club is doing a neat series of bands playing a set of 25 covers. They’ve chosen 25 songs and will get bands to come and choose from one of 25 songs.  Every time a song is played it leaves the list.  So Ted Leo and the Pharmacists are up first and chose “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”.  The next band will have 24 songs to choose from. Here’s the list:  ...
